A 50km ride designed to strike the sweet spot between challenge and achievement\u2014perfect for building confidence, improving fitness, and enjoying a well-paced day on the bike. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It starts with a gentle rollout on quieter roads, giving you time to settle in before the terrain gradually begins to build. Rolling sections and steady, approachable climbs keep things engaging without ever feeling overwhelming, helping you find a rhythm and develop control as the ride unfolds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around halfway, a 25km feed station offers a chance to refuel and reset before the second half, where the climbing eases and the roads become smoother and faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From there, it\u2019s about enjoying the momentum and riding strong towards the finish. A well-balanced 50km that delivers progression, variety, and a real sense of accomplishment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Full Route Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our 50km made of stone sportive is designed to strike that sweet spot: challenging enough to feel like a real achievement, yet fully achievable for riders building fitness and confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route rolls out on quieter roads with a gentle start, giving you time to settle in and find your rhythm. The opening kilometres are kind on the legs, with light undulations that ease you into the ride without demanding too much too soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the route progresses, the terrain becomes more engaging. A series of rolling sections\u2014short climbs followed by flowing descents\u2014keep things interesting and encourage a steady, controlled effort. These climbs are approachable but rewarding, making them perfect for developing strength and pacing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around the halfway point, you\u2019ll reach the 25km feed station\u2014a great opportunity to refuel, take a breather, and reset before the second half of the ride. By this point you’ve done most of your climbing so from here you\u2019ll be rewarded with some of the most enjoyable riding of the day, with smoother roads and gentle descents helping you carry momentum toward the finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final kilometres ease you home, allowing you to spin out the legs and enjoy the sense of achievement as you head back in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the event, mechanical support and first aid will be available, giving you peace of mind so you can focus on enjoying the ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
