ABOUT IAN GILKES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A racer with decades of experience, Ian Gilkes has been part of British cycling for more than 30 years, from his early days as an amateur international to racing at elite level.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ian first made his mark as an amateur, representing Great Britain and competing at the 1991 UCI Road World Championships<\/strong>. He continued to race competitively throughout the 1990s and 2000s, recording results across British and European road races, including a third place at Paris-Troyes in 1992.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His racing career has continued well beyond his early competitive years. Ian remains active in road racing today, with results including victory at the Hell of North Herefordshire in 2025<\/strong>, demonstrating that his competitive edge is still very much there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
