Full Route Description
The 100km route takes everything that’s great about the 50km ride and builds it into a bigger, more rewarding challenge—perfect for riders ready to step up in distance and test their endurance.
You’ll roll out on the same opening section as the 50km route, easing into the ride on quieter roads while you find your rhythm. Don’t be fooled by the steady start though—the first 25km packs in the biggest climbs of the day. These early ascents are where you’ll do most of the hard work, so pacing is key. Ride within yourself, settle into a comfortable effort, and you’ll set yourself up perfectly for the distance ahead.
At 25km, you’ll reach the first feed station. It’s a great point to refuel, take stock, and enjoy the sense that the toughest climbing is already behind you.
From here, the route begins to open up into more rolling and flowing terrain. There’s still plenty to keep you engaged, but the gradients are more forgiving, allowing you to find a steady cruising pace and really enjoy the ride.
The second feed station at around 40km comes at just the right time—top up bottles, grab some fuel, and prepare for the longer second half of the route.
Beyond this point, the challenge becomes less about steep climbs and more about endurance. The route continues through a mix of undulating roads and smoother sections where you can settle into a rhythm, manage your effort, and tick off the kilometres. Ride smart here, and you’ll find the distance very manageable.
As you head into the final stretch, the sense of achievement really builds. The terrain remains rideable, giving you the chance to keep turning the pedals and finish strong.
With mechanical support and first aid available throughout the event, you can ride with confidence knowing help is on hand if you need it.
Overall, the 100km route is a rewarding step up—front-loaded with climbing, then opening into a ride that’s all about pacing, resilience, and enjoying the journey. Cross the finish line, and you’ll know you’ve earned it.
