PROJECT PAU
Shaping the future of cycling.
Project PAU is our free online cycling academy for riders aged 13-18. It’s designed to support the development of young cyclists, offering free coaching, a supportive community, and opportunities for young riders to develop their skills both on and off the bike.
The Project has two levels, the first is our academy, open to everyone, and we also have Team PAU, our junior cycling team.
The two programmes are explained in detail below.

DISCOVER TEAM PAU
Team PAU supports young cyclists who are serious about progressing in the sport.
Through expert coaching, mentoring, and subsidised race support, we give our junior riders the structure, tools, and opportunities they need to develop.

BACKED BY CHAMPIONS
The Project PAU initiative has the support of champions such as Bradley Wiggins, Sean Conway and Nathan Heaney because it’s focused on giving young people opportunities they might not otherwise have — whether due to financial barriers, disadvantaged backgrounds, or challenges at home.
The aim is simple: help level the playing field and give every young rider a fair chance to progress.
“I wouldn’t underestimate just how powerful an initiative this is for lots of kids. Someone believing in you and giving you the tools and the right coaching and the ability to think for yourself – it makes you realise what else you are capable of in your life.”
– Bradley Wiggins
