Project PAU and Team PAU were created to give young cyclists the opportunity to progress in the sport, no matter their background. Cycling can be expensive, and many talented riders miss out simply because they can’t afford to take the next step.
We’re funding a team of 8 junior cyclists to train and compete here in the UK again in 2025 but we want to go further and we’re looking for businesses to join us as we seek to go further in 2025.
Because we want our team of aspiring future champions to have every opportunity to progress in the sport we’re looking for 100 businesses to make a contribution to our race fund and help us get Team PAU into Europe for a number of foreign race trips this year

- Travel costs to get the team across the channel to Europe, giving them the chance to race abroad and gain valuable experience.
- Accommodation costs on international trips

- Volunteer expenses to enable the riders to travel with the right level of support in the form of drivers, mechanics, managers and helpers to hand up water bottles.

Why are we raising extra funds?
PAU has fully funded the Team PAU project for the last 12 months and in 2025 we will again sponsor the same programme for the riders that includes travel, entry, accommodation and equipment for 9 British Cycling National Series races and the National Championships,
We know though that our riders will progress further and faster if they can race abroad and that means raising more money to fund those expeditions.
PROJECT PAU
Project PAU is an initiative dedicated to making cycling accessible for all, providing free support, coaching, and resources for junior riders aged 13 to 18 years old to develop their skills and passion for the sport.
TEAM PAU
Team PAU selects dedicated members from Project PAU, providing fully-funded spots to young cyclists who demonstrate determination and hard work, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent them from pursuing their passion for cycling.
